Funding Health Care

Funding for Health and Wellness is up $1.3 billion (10.6 per cent) for a total of $13.4 billion. That’s more than one third of all government spending at $36.7 million a day, or $1.5 million every hour.

Health care allocations are contained in the provincial government budget approved each year by the Alberta Legislature.
