The Government of Alberta is committed to helping Albertans make healthy choices in their lives. Public Health, a division of Alberta Health and Wellness, provides leadership to develop and implement strategies to improve health and medical care through:

Healthy U – the Healthy Alberta website

Healthy U logoOn January 31, 2003, the province-wide Healthy U campaign was launched to support and encourage Albertans to lead healthier lifestyles by providing them with access to information on healthy eating and active living.

Start when you're young – Create a Movement

Making smart choices and developing good physical activity and eating habits while you’re young can help you avoid a whole world of health trouble. Create A Movement (www.createamovement.ca) exists to direct young people to the knowledge and resources needed to live healthy.
